Jennifer Chermoshnyuk

Jennifer “Jen” Chermoshnyuk is a connector of dots with loads of legal and tech experience but is neither a lawyer nor a pure tech geek. An escapee from big law, Jen questioned and social-engineered her way into risk management and then technical info sec. She is now Sr. Manager for the growing Customer Security and Trust Engineering team for GitHub. Jen lives in Seattle with her better-half – the true owner of the Ukrainian-Russian tongue twister last name, their two mostly-adorable and creatively devious daughters who definitely follow in their mother’s mostly benevolent troublemaking, and a couple Zoom bombing, keyboard warming, older black cats.
