Matt DeChant is a seasoned executive that builds, operates, and scales client information security programs that reduce business risk and adapt to emerging threats without affecting the speed of business. He designs and executes business strategy & effectively communicates complex technical solutions. With over 25 years in various technology leadership roles, fifteen years dedicated to information security, and eight years as a Chief Information Security Officer.

Currently, Matt is the CEO of Security Counsel, which offers a portfolio of practices, triage, and professional services for companies to benefit from mature, strategic approaches to information security portfolio and program management. Security Counsel brings extensive management and technical experience without the financial burden of full-time internal security leadership.
