Why Your Email Matters

With all the ways to create new accounts, people often forget the value of their email address. In this presentation, we will take a look at how creating accounts with the wrong email address greatly reduces the bar for any social engineering attack. Specifically, we will look at how multiple accounts can be combined to gain a complete picture of who you are. The innocent will be protected but their shame will not.

Hopefully we will also get a glimpse into responsible vulnerability disclosure (I’m working on these now, FWIW.)
